The responsibility of WESTIR Ltd. is to respond to current and potential issues affecting the people of Western Sydney by gathering, analysing and interpreting information and ensuring that such information is accessible to the community.

History

WESTIR is a non-profit community organisation, partly funded by the NSW Department of Community Services. It was established in 1980 to provide enhanced and equitable access to statistical data and information for people and community organisations, especially those in the Greater Western Sydney region.
